SmartOCR is a C library that plugs into the WiT visual programming software package to allow for the rapid creation of
complete inspection applications requiring optical character recognition. SmartOCR uses a novel method for pattern
recognition based on a core technology developed by Coreco Imaging that decodes patterns irrespective of angle or scale
and operates at rates as high as 1000 patterns/second on Pentium-II* class machines.
